Terms and Conditions

This terms and conditions outline the contractual rules for using the service, including responsibilities, report usage, and limitations.

The service and your authority

These terms govern the use of SCOUTFAST provided by ScoutFast Pte Ltd (“SCOUTFAST”, “we”, “us”). By accepting them, you confirm that you are authorised to act for the organisation identified in your account and to submit its materials. SCOUTFAST provides capability analysis, interim assessments and funding research for business decision support. Reports may be produced using AI-assisted processing, public research and human judgement where stated.

Scope price and delivery

Your accepted order, subscription schedule or signed engagement agreement specifies the deliverables, price, payment, renewal, cancellation, refund rights, refresh entitlement and delivery timetable. No new charges or renewal commitments arise solely from these general terms. A signed agreement prevails over these terms for any conflicting commercial provision. We may request clarification where materials are missing or inconsistent; any effect on the delivery timetable will be communicated. We do not undertake to update a report after its stated date except as agreed in your service schedule.

Your submissions and permitted processing

You retain your rights in the materials you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive permission to process, reproduce and transform those materials only as needed to provide the agreed service and maintain appropriate engagement, quality and legal records, subject to confidentiality obligations and the Privacy Notice. This permission does not authorise publication, sale of your confidential materials, or funder outreach without separate authority. You confirm that submission and authorised processing do not infringe third-party rights or breach confidentiality, licence, privilege or other restrictions. Disclose any special restrictions before upload.

Confidentiality and personal data

We will protect non-public materials with reasonable safeguards and restrict access to personnel and contracted providers who need them to deliver or support the service and are subject to appropriate confidentiality duties. Disclosure may also occur when legally required. The Privacy Notice explains personal-data handling; accepting these terms does not waive privacy rights or grant optional marketing or training consent. Avoid submitting unnecessary personal information or prohibited sensitive records.

Ownership and use of reports

You may use delivered reports for your organisation’s business planning and share them with its advisers and prospective funding or strategic partners for your own transaction purposes, subject to your service agreement and third-party restrictions. Keep disclaimers and attributions intact and take care with confidential information. SCOUTFAST retains rights in its software, scoring methods, templates and underlying databases. Third-party source rights remain with their owners. You may not resell reports as a database product, extract or redistribute restricted source datasets, or imply that a named funder endorses your company.

Limitations and your decisions

Reports reflect the evidence and assumptions available at the dates stated. AI and other analysis can contain errors, omissions or outdated information. We do not warrant completeness, funder interest, eligibility, funding availability or commercial outcomes. Scores help prioritise research and do not represent funding probabilities. Reports are not investment, financial, legal, tax or medical advice, an audit, valuation or assurance opinion. You remain responsible for verifying material facts, obtaining professional advice where needed, conducting diligence, and deciding whether and how to approach a funder.

Acceptable use and account security

Keep account credentials secure and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access. Do not upload unlawful material, malware or information you lack authority to supply, interfere with the service, bypass access controls, impersonate others, or use reports to make misleading representations. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security incidents or legal requirements and will provide notice where practicable.

Availability termination and data handling

We may need to interrupt service for maintenance or security. Material changes to the agreed service and any termination for breach will be handled consistently with your service agreement and applicable law. Subscription expiry or account closure does not remove accrued rights or obligations. Retention and deletion follow the Privacy Notice and applicable legal obligations. Request an export of your delivered reports before account closure if you need continuing access.

Liability and statutory rights

Each party remains responsible under applicable law. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or removes mandatory rights. Any negotiated cap, exclusions, indemnities or remedies must appear in the signed agreement or approved service schedule. This draft adds no monetary cap or blanket waiver.

Changes governing law and contact

We will notify material changes and obtain acceptance where required. New terms do not retrospectively replace the version governing a delivered report. Proposed governing law is Singapore law, with Singapore courts, subject to mandatory rights and any signed agreement. Contact the published application support channel. Finalise that address and dispute provision before launch.
